Club Instructor - Matt McLoughlin 2nd Dan So Hombu

 

Sensei McLoughlin began his Aikido training in summer 2003 under Sensei Mike Forster.

 

He graded to Shodan on the 15th May 2014 by Brian Burrows of Shun Poo Kan Aikido club and established the Kenshikikan Dojo in Shevington in late September that same year.

 

He was graded to Nidan (2nd Degree black belt) on 26th April 2015 by Brian Burrows Shihan

7th Dan So Hombu

 

Mcloughlin Sensei has been influenced by a number of instructors throughout his Aikido Journey including Sensei Mike Forster of Wigan Aikido and Sensei Les Baker of Crosby Aikido Tenshinkan.

 

His classes cover both empty handed and weapons techniques and are conducted in a traditonal manner with emphasis placed on respect, integrity and above all friendship -
